ABOUT THE INVENTORY SPECIALIST

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for the daily management and optimization of inventory software (Margin Edge) and reporting tools across all departments. This role ensures accurate inventory tracking, drives process improvement, and supports operational efficiency in collaboration with culinary, beverage, and finance teams. The position requires strong technical proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot issues while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU MUST

  • Manage and maintain inventory management system (Margin Edge), ensuring accuracy and integrity of data.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with culinary and beverage departments to ensure alignment in item review and mapping.
  • Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify variances, trends, and optimization opportunities.
  • Support rollout and training initiatives related to inventory platforms and best practices.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively across departments regarding inventory status, challenges, and updates.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple inventory projects or issues simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Conduct periodic pricing audits and quality checks.
  • Conduct periodic purchasing compliance audits.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in inventory systems, operations, or a related field
  • Proficiency in inventory software platforms and reporting tools (e.g., Margin Edge, Crunchtime, or equivalent) preferred
  • Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
  • Technical troubleshooting of system-related issues
  • Data analysis and report generation


Salary Description

$27.00 to $31.00 per hour
