ABOUT THE REGIONAL FIELD MARKETING MANAGER

The Regional Field Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving revenue and brand presence in Texas, Georgia, Tennessee, and North Carolina. This role will be pivotal in executing innovative sales-building initiatives that meet New Restaurant Openings (NROs) and Existing Restaurants Topline Sales goals. You will develop and implement regional marketing programs, amplify enterprise-wide brand campaigns, and establish strategic local and national partnerships. As an advocate for the Upward Projects brand, you will also foster strong relationships with Restaurant Leaders, local businesses, organizations, and community influencers to elevate our presence in each market.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU MUST

  • Develop annual sales and brand-building plans for each market within your region, setting measurable KPIs to track success.
  • Oversee all marketing aspects of New Restaurant Openings, from pre-opening buzz building to grand opening events and ramp-up period marketing execution.
  • Serve as the marketing expert in your assigned regions, conducting thorough analyses of market conditions, including demographics, competition, industry trends, guest preferences, and local brand positioning.
  • Effectively communicate national and seasonal marketing initiatives, as well as market-specific campaigns, to Area Operations Leadership.
  • Plan and coordinate logistics for local on- and off-premise experiential activities, community engagement events, and regional partnerships.
  • Take ownership of market-level launches and the expansion of key brand programs, ensuring they are executed with excellence across all locations within your region.
  • Develop and lead the execution of individualized marketing plans for underperforming locations, setting clear KPIs and working cross-functionally to ensure successful implementation.
  • Support Restaurant Leaders by preparing them for Local Store Marketing (LSM) execution.
  • Own the weekly and quarterly reporting and analysis of top line sales results, day-part performance, revenue center metrics, guest sentiment, and third-party delivery (3PD) performance.
  • Regularly communicate LSM best practices and lead Quarterly Business Review meetings with Area Operations Leadership, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record of building sales in a multi-unit, multi-market environment, particularly in opening new markets.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in developing holistic field marketing initiatives, including media, partnerships, events, PR, influencers, and catering.
  • Ability to think strategically and act tactically to drive results that enhance brand differentiation and achieve annual sales goals.
  • Excellent analytical abilities and computer skills, with the capacity to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to travel 1-2 times per quarter for market visits and NRO support as needed within the assigned regions.


Salary Description

$85,000 to $95,000 base plus 10% bonus potential
