ABOUT THE FACILITIES SPECIALIST

The Facilities Specialist is responsible for providing operational support to the Development Department by assisting with Facilities as directed. This role ensures that all facilities and properties operate effectively and efficiently. Responsibilities encompass all aspects of building use, stewardship, operation, repair, and general administration related to managing Upward Projects locations.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU MUST

  • Acting as a liaison for service issues, particularly related to building inspection and condition assessment.
  • Designing, developing, and administering various programs while analyzing data and monitoring budgets.
  • Recommending repairs or upgrades for facilities and infrastructure, performing feasibility studies, and selecting appropriate equipment.
  • Participating in strategic initiatives to create efficiencies, ensure quality, and set policies and procedures.
  • Planning, prioritizing, and scheduling tasks for assigned vendors, leading teams, providing training, and ensuring a safe work environment.
  • Maintaining accurate records and providing access to facilities in compliance with UP or departmental policies.

Requirements

  • Full-Time Position on-site at corporate headquarters
  • After-Hours Availability: May require assistance after hours or on weekends for emergency work orders.
  • Travel Requirement: Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time.
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: 2-5 years in general office and administrative support, including facilities services experience in restaurants or retail preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), with ServiceChannel preferred.


Salary Description

$65,000 to $75,000 base salary
