ABOUT THE DIRECTOR OF CONSTRUCTION
The primary responsibility of the Director of Construction is to monitor and support the construction workflow associated with new and existing restaurant sites. This includes but is not limited to scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating various maintenance and construction projects. This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills and an attention to details.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR OF CONSTRUCTION
The primary responsibility of the Director of Construction is to monitor and support the construction workflow associated with new and existing restaurant sites. This includes but is not limited to scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating various maintenance and construction projects. This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills and an attention to details.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU MUST
- Manage selected contractor, vendor, and architect
- Conducts site investigations and construction surveys
- Ensure proper permitting, documentation, and coding
- Responsible for all construction budgets
- Timely and regularly communicate project timeline to all stakeholders
- Coordinates a purchase order system and maintains the system for all provided items
- Coordinates the set-up of all utilities
- Lead and management the construction site through the turnover of the building to the operations team
- Auditing the work on the site and providing concise and immediate feedback when necessary to get things back on track
- Responsible for the close-out of each project, including necessary documents for TA dollars per lease

Requirements
- 5+ years as a construction project management within restaurants or similar applicable experience
- Understands and can demonstrate knowledge around the industry standards, materials, local polices, and processes to meet project quality and deadlines
- Able to multi-task and perform various task as needed to complete projects
- Ability to use Excel at above the intermediate level
- Strong ability to be organized and balance several priorities
- Skilled in communicating with various personalities in a convincing and professional manner
- Maintains high standards and is able to communicate and address others without hesitation regarding quality of work or appropriate charges for the work performed
- Ability to travel when required
- Excellent written and verbal skills
